On Tuesday 12^th November, the Year 5/6 netball team had their first fixture of the year. The girls had lots of nerves leading up to this event, but they couldn't have made me prouder. In the first quarter, the girls got to grips with marking their players. By the second half, it was amazing to see how much they had already learnt. We scored our first 3 goals in the second half, which was a massive confidence boost. The team showed great perseverance and I was proud of their sportsmanship and respect for Winyates. At our next training session, the girls were already implementing so many of the strategies, tips and tricks they had learnt from their game against Winyates. They are ready and raring to go and play their next game!
