Curriculum Evening 05.10.22
By Mr Marks, Headteacher
On Wednesday 5th October we will be hosting our annual OWPS Curriculum Evening. This event is for all parents and carers of children in Years One to Six.
The focus for this event is on how you can support your child at home with their learning. Like we did for the Transition Evening, there will be three parts to the event, and you can choose which presentations to attend, according to the age of your children. All year groups are preparing 25-minute sessions and there will be an additional presentation in the middle.
The outline for the evening is as follows:
5.50pm – Doors open
6.00pm – Year group presentations in classrooms
6.30pm – Communication and wellbeing presentation in the hall for everyone
7.00pm – Year group presentations (repeat)
7.30pm – Evening finishes
You can choose to arrive at either 5.50pm and attend the first presentation or, arrive at 6.25pm for the presentation in the hall followed by a Year Group session.
The Transition Evening in the summer term was very well attended, and we are hoping to see just as many parents and carers join us for this event. It is your chance to hear about some important things happening in school, be clear on the best ways you can help your child with their learning at home and ask their teachers related questions.
- Login with your parent details and your child's details. If you have more than one child at the school (in Years 1-6), it doesn’t matter for this event which child’s name you use to log in.
- Please use your child's formal name (i.e. the name you gave us when your child first started at the school) when logging in. For example, if your child is known as Jonny Peterson, but their formal name is given as Jonathon-Edward Peterson, please use the formal name with which to log in.
- Schoolcloud will send you a confirmation email including a link to amend or cancel the booking if needed. The booking form will close at 10am on Monday 3rd October 2022.
- If you have any problems or queries, please contact the school office on 01733 370646 for some help.
