Dear Parents and Carers,
As we come to the end of November, we have lots to look forward to over the coming weeks, including the EYFS Nativity and the Year Two production. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Photographs and Videos
We are looking forward to seeing lots of our families in school in the next couple of weeks to see their children perform on stage. Every year, all children at OWPS have an opportunity to participate in either a year group assembly or production. From this point on, photos and short videos can be taken during the performances of your own children. We ask that you follow a few expectations with this and before these events, a reminder will be sent home to the families of those children performing and the adult welcoming you to the school will also mention these important points:
-
Any photos or short videos should be focused on your own children.
-
These are for personal use and must not be posted on any form of social media.
-
Do not use a flash when taking photos and refrain from watching the entire performance through a small phone screen!
I'm sure these snapshots will make for lovely memories, and you will be able to share them with other family members who could not be there on the day.
Online Safety Week
All children have taken part in online safety lessons this week which form part of our online safety curriculum. This morning, the Wistow Online Safety Rangers delivered an assembly alongside Mr. Goakes focusing on how to keep safe online. The children spoke confidently about this important topic and the rest of the school enjoyed taking part in this interactive assembly.
FOWS Collection
Thank you to everyone who donated a bottle of something today. The bottle tombola is always a very popular stall at the Christmas fair and looking at what was given to the FOWS volunteers today, customers won't be disappointed!
Have a lovely weekend everyone
