Dear parents and carers,

Curriculum Evening
Thank you to those parents who signed up and came along to the curriculum evening on Wednesday. As our Year One to Six Family Learning sessions have focused on GPS, we decided that maths would be a good area to concentrate on for this event. Every year group (1-6) ran two sessions looking at some elements of the maths curriculum and got the parents engaged and involved with some calculations. Year Six 2CanLearn
Wonderful to see so many family members in school yesterday morning for the Year Sixes 2CanLearn session. Mr. Cowles and Mr. Newton planned this hour-long activity, using our new Access Art scheme focusing on portraits. Children and their visitors took it in turns to pose whilst the other sketched a portrait of them. It sounded like a lot of fun and sitting perfectly still for a few minutes was definitely a challenge for many.
Hopefully, the weekend will be a little calmer than today! See you all next week.
