Dear Parents and Carers,
Another week passes, and finally the nights are getting lighter. The children continue to work hard, with a smile on their face.
We pride ourselves here that the children are not afraid to take on a challenge. A ‘small risk with a high reward in a safe environment.’ This could be attempting some work that is new or has multiple steps to it, where the children may not get the answer correctly the first time. We offer the scaffolding and guidance, so the children can all be successful with some perseverance. We believe that instilling this belief into children will help them not only in primary school but during their next stage of learning and, indeed, when they are older.
Honour Assembly
Tuesday morning brought excitement in the hall as the children sat patiently waiting for the first Honour Assembly of 2025. As the children were singing, the parents of the children who had won an award came in and sat at the back of the hall.
This term the theme was – ‘Connect.’ How pupils connect with their surroundings and the environment that they live in. Understanding how connecting in this way keeps them mentally and physically healthy. For example- Pupil A has a wonderful way of connecting with those around, he is always willing to help others. He gives the chance for others to speak and make everyone feel included.
Congratulations to all our winners.
Have a great weekend and we will see you all in February.
