Mr Marks, the Headteacher, writes.....
Dear parents and carers,
I hope you all enjoyed the half-term and made the most of the few days we had of bright and dry weather. It has been a great start to this very short half-term and the children have settled well into the second half of this academic year.
Open Day
We were joined by over one hundred family members on Wednesday for our Open Day and it was great to see the hall full of children and family members looking through the work the children have completed so far this year. At the end of each year children will bring home a selection of some of their books for you to look through and keep.
Clubs
The Spring term clubs continued this week and will carry on until Friday 15th March. Please remind your children of the clubs they should be attending, especially those that take place during lunchtimes. The Year Six booster clubs carry on past the 15th.
Book Week
We are all getting excited for this year's book week taking place next week. Miss Tansley and Mrs Fidgett will launch the week during Monday's assembly and then we have lots of book related activities lined up for all the children to enjoy. We are hoping to see lots of children come back to school for bedtime stories on Thursday.
Have a lovely weekend everyone.
