Another Win for OWPS
Monday 6th March 2017
The Year 5/6 football team played another game yesterday against St.Michaels Primary School (Stanground). The game was nearly called off due to a very damp pitch but we went ahead and once again the boys played well as a team and got the result they deserved. After a neat back heel from Tom De Ruyter and a second scored shortly after we went in at half term 2 -0 up and we managed to hold on to that score, finishing with our first clean sheet of the season. Aaron Afryie was the man of the match. He is a brilliant defender. Aaron will never give up on a ball, he is strong against all players even when bigger than him and he makes good desicions. This win keeps us at the top of the league. Although we have played more games than any other team we are giving ourselves a great chance of finishing first or second! Well done OWPS!
