Harvest Assembly
6th October
As is traditional for Orton Wistow, the Rev. Ingham came to join us for our Harvest Festival, which we celebrated on 6th October. Rev Ingham encouraged us to think about the comfortable houses we lived in, and the range of foods we had available to us.
Speaking about the food bank we had collected our harvest donations for, Rev. Ingham highlighted the need for us to be aware of people in need in towns near to us, and especially in our own localities. He reiterated that this wasn't only a problem for people in other countries but was a universal concern to which we could all play a small part in making better.
