On Tuesday morning the Year Six pupils from the Merlins and Mountain Lions classes were joined by their parents or other family member for their first 'Impact in Learning' session. We were very pleased to see all the adults join their children for the session and we had a very positive response from them about the morning. They focused on calculation strategies (mental and written) and the parents learnt the methods their children use in class day to day. Parents were also given the resources they needed to work with their children each night over the coming weeks to build on the work done in the session. We all look forward to seeing what 'Impact' this will have on the children's progression in maths!
