Lower Key Stage Two have visited Stibbington for a World War 2 experience as London evacuees. We practised putting on gas masks and wrote our spellings with a fountain pen. Once the air raid siren sounded, we rushed down to the shelter where we sang 'It's a Long Way to Tipperary' to reassure ourselves. We had jam and spam sandwiches for lunch and played with girds and stilts. Can we come home now?
