Mr Marks, the Headteacher, writes....
Dear parents and carers,
After a shorts and t-shirt weekend we have returned to colder times! Despite that it has been a good week in school with lots happening as usual.
Year 1 Assembly
It was great to see so many of our Year One parents and family members come into school on Wednesday to watch the children tell the story of 'The Robot and The Bluebird'. The children performed well on the stage and I know Miss. Wyatt, Mrs. Francis and Mrs. Morris were all very proud of them.
Mobile Phones
Those of you that attended the recent curriculum evening will know that a lot of the pupils at our school have their own mobile phone. Some of the older children bring these to school so they have them when they are travelling to and from OWPS independently. All children must hand their phones to their class teacher at the start of the day and they can then collect it at 3.15pm. They are also not to be used whilst on the school site and we have reminded the pupils of these expectations this week. Please can I ask that all parents also remind their children of this if they allow them to bring a phone with them to school.
Open Evening
Please don't forget to let us know if you are planning to come into school at the end of the day on March 25th. This is a chance for you to have a look through your children's books and class teachers will be in their classrooms if you wish to speak with them. Please use this link: Open Day Form
Have a wonderful weekend everyone.
Mr. Marks
Headteacher
