Children's University students took part in a Roman Archaeological dig and discovered lots about the areas Roman legacy.
Children's University Members welcomed a very special guest to school. Dr Natalie Starkey (Space scientist) brought a piece of the moon for us to hold!
5 OWPS children celebrated earning their 30 hours certificate at the first Peterborough Children's University Graduation ceremony.
KS1 have been looking after their own potato plants since planting them on March 6th. Here they are just before harvesting! They have grown into an impressive plant.
KS1 took part in a Salsa dance lesson as their World Cup continent is Europe.
KS1 were visited by the raptor foundation. They helped to exercise the barn owl and the Harrier Hawk, who flew up and down the length of the hall and then landed on the special handling gloves.
On Tuesday 10th June, Bear Cubs and Hedgehogs had a go at Chinese dancing. We moved like dragons and travelled in different ways and moved different parts of our bodies. We had lots of fun and put it all together with the music.
The children had a fencing taster day where they learnt to lunge and parry!
Big Art Week
On Wednesday 7th May, we held our Art Gallery Open event to display the children's fantastic textiles work created during BIG ART week.
The Bearcubs and Hedgehogs class have become proud parents to 16 baby chicks. The chicks are all happy and healthy and chirping and cheeping in the classroom.
