KS1 have been looking after their own potato plants since planting them on March 6th. Here they are just before harvesting! They have grown into an impressive plant. (Monday 9th June)

 

Children in KS1 have also been growing beetroot at home. We harvetsed them and then we tasted lots of beetroot produce!

 

On Wednesday 11th June, KS1 returned to the East of England Showground and harvested their potatoes. We had our produce weighed and then carried them home but first we learned how to make a simple potato salad. (Now we can make dinner!)
