In Year 6 we started our learning about electricity, by learning how to draw circuits using the correct symbols.  We also recapped our knowledge from Year 4 about how circuits work. Here is some work from our first lesson.

In English this week we have been looking at different parts of a narrative. Annabelle created a wonderful scene in her story. She had to ensure it was tense. A great example of using powerful devices to better her work. 

This Flamingo has designed and built an amazing board game to play with Year 1. Well done!

Zuzanna from the Toucans has done a wonderful job at describing a sandwich, as part of our English lessons. She has accurately used brackets for parenthesis too. Well done.

In the Flamingoes class, children have been applying to be House Captains for next year. Here are some of the reasons they feel they should be picked. This is by Emma.

The Sharks class has been learning about the theory of evolution and how adaptions help animals to survive. This is a piece of work by Daisy, showcasing what she has learnt this week.
