Sri from the Toucans has completed and recorded a science experiment to a high standard. She investigated air resistance, by making parachutes with her peers and timing how long they take to fall to the ground. Well done!
In Year 6 we have been looking at examples of propaganda posters from World Wars One and Two in our English lessons. We then made some of our own. Here are some from the Nightingales.
This week the cobras looked at circles. We were able to use a compass correctly to draw a perfect circle, then we learnt how to measure them using the correct vocabulary. All the children shone during this lesson and could recall the language used.

In English this week we have been looking at different parts of a narrative. Annabelle created a wonderful scene in her story. She had to ensure it was tense. A great example of using powerful devices to better her work.
