  • SEN & SEMH Holiday Nurture Sessions

    Oak Activities are proud to announce the release of our SEN & SEMH Nurture Sessions to be held at Paston Ridings Primary School over the Easter Holidays. We are also pleased to be offering fully funded places via the HAF Programme to eligible children.

  • On Touch Football- FREE Football Days

    One Touch Football are delighted to announce we will be offering free HAF football days in Peterborough over the Easter holidays, as well as this paying parents can book as well.

    The days will run from 9.00am till 3.00pm, highly qualified and experienced staff will be leading the days and it will be full of footie fun for boys and girls between the ages of 5 to 12years.

    School-aged children and young people (Reception-Year 11) who are in receipt of benefit-related free school meals can receive up to 4 sessions at one of our holiday provisions during the Easter holidays at no cost. 

    The sessions will include a range of activities and all food is also included for free. 

    We have a range of provisions across the city for primary and secondary-aged children and young people.

    Jumped up Theatre, a Peterborough-based arts charity, are working with the International Shiamak Brand to launch Bollywood Classes, for children aged 4-12 years, on Thursdays at Hampton Vale Community Centre.     Peterborough Sings popular Christmas Magic event returns to Peterborough Cathedral on Saturday 16th December with a family-friendly matinee at 2.30pm and an evening performance at 7.30pm. With something for everyone young and old it's the perfect start to the festive season in a truly wonderful setting!

  • Mimi and the Mountain Dragon

    Mimi and the Mountain Dragon is an animated film based on the book by Michael Morpurgo, with a live orchestral accompaniment, narrator and choir to be shown at New Theatre Peterborough on Tuesday 28th November, 6:00 to 7:00 pm. 

    We are excited to say that we will be joined by Rachel Portman, OBE, academy award winning composer of the music and James Burstall, film and tv producer and CEO of Agronon production company.  James will be giving a short talk before the performance.

  • Christmas Appeal

    The National Literacy Trust are having a Christmas Appeal

    They are asking residents/businesses in Peterborough to donate a new children’s book to them (any age/genre). The Peterborough Hub will match all donations received up to 1000 books and these will be given to the Food Banks so that families who access these can have the books for Christmas.

    They have ‘drop off’ boxes at Serpentine Green, Metro Bank in town and The Cresset theatre.
