We are excited to announce our biggest community event of the year, Apple Day, is at the Wildlife Trust's Ramsey Heights nature reserve on Saturday 12th October. If you believe your school families and staff would be interested in attending, would you be so kind as to promote it on a noticeboard or attach to a newsletter, please? We have activities for all ages. Younger children may enjoy the apple games and crafts, the hula-hoop workshop and storytelling. Older students and adults we hope will enjoy the live music, and especially the lyric-writing workshops with musician Chas Slater and art workshop with artist Syrah-Jade Arnold. Perhaps art and music departments could promote these specifically? Everyone's invited to join the afternoon Ceilidh, there's food and drink, Molly dancing and market stalls.
For younger children there is the October half-term event, the Great Fen Spooktacular, which is a Halloween craft party.
