OWPS vs St Johns (Girls Football Fixture)
By Amy, Year 6 Student
The match was a difficult match because they pressed hard. It was our last fixture of the league, and we needed to win to win the league. OWPS kicked off, we took some time to score a goal, we had lots of shots but couldn’t score. Cadence took a corner, and it’s bounced off Isabell’s shoulder, meaning we went 1-0 up. This was the score at half-time. Mr Cowles told us to be patient and changed our positions around. ST Johns kicked off to start the second half, I dribbled and passed to Chloe and hit top bins. That took us to 2-0. Chloe then scored again and the final goal came from Autumn. We won 4-0 and it was a great game and result. We will now play at the Western Homes Stadium to try and lift the Peterborough Schools trophy.
