Bottle Donation Day

Thank you to everyone who took part in today’s Bottle Donation Day. We will have a well-stocked bottle tombola at the summer fair thanks to your generosity. The kids all looked great in their own t-shirts, with lots of football shirts seen in preparation for the start of the Euros tonight.

Sports Day Refreshments Next Week

We are excited to announce that refreshments will be available at both sports days next week, on Tuesday and Friday. The Friends of Orton Wistow School (FOWS) will be selling tea, coffee, and snacks to spectators. Please remember not to purchase refreshments for pupils; ensure they come to school with their water bottles as usual. We kindly remind everyone that we are operating on a cash-only basis, so please bring some change with you. To help reduce waste, we encourage you to bring your own reusable cups, which we will gladly fill for you.

Raffle Tickets

All families should have received four books of raffle tickets to buy/sell to family and friends for our upcoming raffle, which will be held at the summer fair on July 5th. Thank you to everyone who has already returned their sold ticket stubs and cash. If you haven't received any tickets or need more, they can be collected from the school office, purchased at next week’s sports days, or at the summer fair. This year’s raffle features fantastic prizes, including £100 cash, £50 cash, and family passes to Burghley House, Planet Ice, and Safari Play.

Summer Fair Stall Prizes – Unwanted Party Favors, Teddies for the Tombola & Baked Goods

As we prepare for the summer fair, we are seeking donations of unwanted party favours (bouncy balls, key rings, slap bands, bubbles etc.) that can be used as stall prizes. Additionally, if you have any clean, unwanted teddies for the teddy tombola, please drop them off at the school office. We are also still looking for some keen bakers to provide treats for us to sell on the refreshments stall, please email fows@owps or contact us via Facebook Messenger if you can help.  Your donations are greatly appreciated and help make our events successful and enjoyable for everyone.

2nd Hand Uniform Rail – Buy/Donate

If your child has outgrown their school jumpers, have little ones joining Foundation in September, or you are searching for purple items for Year 6 next year, the second-hand uniform rail in the school office is well stocked. Please feel free to visit and pick up what you need. We also welcome donations of logo items such as jumpers, cardigans, and t-shirts for the rail.
