The children also learned about the significance of the day.  In Year Six, for example, the Sharks and Toucans discussed the importance of remembering those men, women and animals who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. The children reflected on the meaning of the phrase 'ultimate sacrifice' and jotted down their thoughts.
