Children in Need- Friday 15.11.24
Thank you to everyone who donated to Children In Need. We raised £684!
Below are a couple of articles, written by children in Year 6, talking about the day.

Children in Need is the BBC’s charity for disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.
To help support Children in Need, we had a dress down day, where you brought in a pound to wear your own clothes, and you could bring in fifty pence for a biscuit. We had an assembly to understand what Children in Need is and why wearing something yellow or spotty is important.

For children in need, Orton Wistow Primary School did the following:
● Our school allowed us to wear non-uniform if we paid £1 to charity and encouraged us to wear yellow or something spotty or both.
● We also got children in need biscuits for 50p, made from our school kitchen.
● As well as that, we had an assembly of children in need and watched an inspirational video of a child in need, which had the slogan of: Some people carry more than others
Overall, we had a great day.
